Biography: Julie lives with her husband and three young children in the Ardsley Park neighborhood.  Her three school-aged children attend the neighborhood public school, and Julie and her husband are involved in PTA and Safe Routes to School.

Julie grew up in suburban Atlanta and attended Georgia public schools from kindergarten through graduate school.  After law school, Julie clerked for a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and also practiced law in Hawaii and Boston.  Currently, she is a lawyer at The Wade Law Firm, with a focus on federal criminal defense and civil litigation.  Julie also has worked at Hunter Maclean and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Savannah.

Julie serves on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run, Metropolitan Savannah Rotary, and Educate Chatham.  She is a graduate of Leadership Savannah and current participant in Leadership Georgia.  Julie has been honored by the UGA Alumni Association’s 40 Under 40 and as a Rising Star by Savannah Magazine.  She recently received the John B. Miller Service Award from the Savannah Bar Association.
