 New this year:  Please take advantage of using the PowerSchool Parent Portal to update your students' information.  Log into the Parent Portal and click the SERVOS Student Verification Link located at the bottom of the navigation screen.

Parents not using the PowerSchool Parent portal with students already enrolled will receive a letter with your SNAPCODE.  If you do not receive a letter, please contact your school.

SERVOS is an online student registration and verification system for families that currently have students enrolled in Savannah-Chatham Public Schools.  SERVOS is a secure website that provides a convenient and quick way for reviewing, updating, and approving student and parent information.  The online forms help reduce the existing paper-based method of data verification that is conducted every year.

We are committed to help simplify the process of completing and submitting a multitude of forms for our parents and staff.  As part of our District Accountability System Goal 2: To ensure fiscal responsibility and effective resource stewardship, we are always looking for solutions that will increase operational efficiencies. We are confident this new system will greatly assist in managing and processing student information. Our paper-based method consisted of processing approximately 350,000 forms every year!

Much effort is spent gathering, organizing, interpreting, and processing student and family information.  With your support and assistance in using the SERVOS verification process, we can work together to reduce operational cost and free up valuable time for enhancing our instructional services.

Each family with students already enrolled in the district will receive a letter when updates are required.  The letter will contain instructions and a SNAPCODE that will be needed to start the verification process.  For SNAPCODE letter or student registration questions, please contact your school.  For technical or Sign In questions, please contact InfoSnap support at (866) 752-6850 or email them at support@infosnap.com.

This year families using the PowerSchool Parent Portal will be able to log into PowerSchool to update your child's information.  Please log into PowerSchool and click the SERVOS Student Verification link located at the bottom of the navigation pane.

Questions and Answers

Q. What if I moved and didn’t receive a letter?

A. If you have moved from an existing school zone, you will need to go to the previous school, obtain a SNAPCODE letter and withdraw your child. The previous school will forward your information to the new school through SERVOS. You can then login to SERVOS, update the information, and provide proof of address to the new school.

Q. What if I lost my letter with the SNAPCODE?

A. The school can print a new letter and SNAPCODE for you.

Q. Does one SNAPCODE work for all my children?

A. For security reasons, a SNAPCODE is required for each child. However, SERVOS will allow you to share information between children.  You will see this option at the end of the verification process for the first child you verify.

Q. What if I am not comfortable using technology?

A. Most schools will be providing onsite support. Call your school for their schedule. In addition, the paper verification process is still in place, and verification forms will be sent home to parents (students not verified through SERVOS) during the third week of school.

Q. When is new student registration going online?

A. New student registration is planned to go online during the 2013-14 school year for students in grades 9-12.

Q. What if I registered my child at a different school from last year?

A. You can still login to SERVOS and update your information. Let your previous school know of the change and they will forward your information in SERVOS to the new school.

Q. What if I forgot to print a confirmation page?

A. SERVOS will send you an email with a link to the confirmation page.
