Announcements: Twenty-seven SCCPSS Students Named Governor's Honors Semifinalists

Twenty-seven SCCPSS Students Named Governor's Honors Semifinalists

Nearly 32-hundred students from across the state were nominated for the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program this school year.  16-hundred of them have been selected as semifinalists for state interviews/auditions including 27 students from four SCCPSS high schools.

The Governor’s Honors Program is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors.  The program offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom and that is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.

Our 27 Savannah-Chatham County semi-finalists will be notified if they are a finalist for the program at the end of March.  Congratulations to all these talented Savannah-Chatham County Public School students!
