Our featured Student of the Month representing the month of April is a seventh grade student from Georgetown K-8 School. Her teachers describe her as intelligent, capable and personable.
This student always keeps a positive outlook despite any obstacle. She has received numerous academic and character recognitions.
Since the age of five, she’s read 4-5 books a week in order to increase her vocabulary as she grew up in a bilingual home. Because of her diligent efforts, she has consistently made high grades. Her hard work and dedication also made her the strongest flute player in the 7th grade band class. She says "difficulty motivates me to strive for academic success".
We are proud to announce the Superintendent’s Student of the Month for April 2018 is Sara Rivera! Congratulations to our student, her family, and the faculty and staff of Georgetown K-8 School!
