The Communication Arts Department at Savannah Arts Academy will host the Seventh Annual Film & Media Festival, Friday, May 18 at 7:00pm. The Film & Media Festival features student created commercials, public service announcements, music videos, animations, graphic designs and short films.

Students who are dressed like celebrities will arrive by limousines at 7:00pm. Come watch them walk the red carpet, take pictures, and collect autographs from our rising designers, producers and filmmakers! The red carpet event will be followed by a viewing of the films in the main auditorium.

The money raised from ticket sales will allow the Communication Arts Department to purchase digital video cameras, editing, graphic design, and animation software, and computers. This will enhance our students’ creative capacity and help develop knowledge in the areas of communications, film production, interactive media, and graphic design.
