      <title>Summer Volleyball Camp to Feature Jacksonville University’s Michelle Collier</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<div><b>Body:</b> <div class=ExternalClassA848E9E10D42423EAF2803F595D3FB4F><p style="line-height:150%;margin:0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><span style="line-height:150%;font-family:'Arial','sans-serif';font-size:12pt">Sol C. Johnson High School will be hosting a district wide volleyball camp July 22-23, 2013 in the John H. Myles Gymnasium.<span style="">  </span>The camp is open to girls ages 8-17.<span style="">  </span>This year’s camp will feature Michelle Collier, the head volleyball coach at Jacksonville University.</span></p>
<p style="line-height:150%;margin:0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><span style="line-height:150%;font-family:'Arial','sans-serif';font-size:12pt">A two-time Conference USA Player of the Year and 2002 All-American, Collier claimed the league's Player of the Decade in 2004. She also claimed the C-USA Freshman of the Year plaque in 1998 and led her school to three of the program's seven NCAA Tournament appearances.<span style="">  </span>USF went 120-48 during her three years, claiming two C-USA titles and one C-USA tournament crown during her four playing years. Collier is the only volleyball player in USF history to have her jersey retired. She joined the USF Hall of Fame in its third class announced in 2011, the first Bulls volleyball player to earn that honor.</span></p>

      <title>Ashley Brown Named Superintendent’s Student of the Month</title>

<p style="text-align:justify;line-height:150%;margin:0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal align=left><span style="line-height:150%;font-family:'Arial','sans-serif';color:black;font-size:12pt">Ashley Brown, a senior at Groves High School, was named Superintendent’s Student of the Month at our Regular Board Meeting that was held on June 5, 2013.  </span><span style="line-height:150%;font-family:'Arial','sans-serif';font-size:12pt">Ashley has been depicted as intelligent, hard working, and inspirational. With a 3.4 grade point average, she is committed to academics. Her success is clearly driven by her strong leadership qualities. As a company commander and a motivation officer in the JROTC, she is in charge of 140 cadets. Ashley goes above and beyond to help other cadets by motivating them to excel, and has maintained a “Cadet of the Month” program to award those who have shown great leadership.</span></p>
<p style="line-height:150%;margin:0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal><span style="line-height:150%;font-family:'Arial','sans-serif';font-size:12pt"></span> </p>
<p style="line-height:150%;margin:0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal><span style="line-height:150%;font-family:'Arial','sans-serif';font-size:12pt">Some of Ashley’s accolades include: Best Drill Squad, Best Color Guard, and Air Force Recruiting Award. She was named Military Ball Queen of 2012, and the Prom Princess of 2012. She also serves as the school’s Softball Captain and has received the Coach’s Award. This student believes in helping others and feels that she can do the most good by attending college and majoring in psychology. She would like to become a therapist because she wants to guide and help people through their situations in life. </span></p>
