Summer Reading Program
Students of the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) will begin their summer break on Friday, May 23, 2014 and will return to class for the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year on Thursday, August 7, 2014.
Summer reading is a key component to the continued academic success for all students. Reading supports vocabulary growth, comprehension and problem solving, and the development of effective communication skills.
