AP Leadership Forum PLC
Assistant principals will participate in tiered professional development. Assistant principals participate in three cohorts. Cohorts are established based on the number of years of experience for assistant principals with 0 – 3 or more years of experience. The tiered professional learning experience will address instructional, operational and management practices that focus on leadership development.
First year assistant principals are required to participate in the AP Leadership Forum PLC. The first year participants will attend 6 – 8 sessions of ongoing training. Second year participants will be required to attend 50% of the trainings. Third year participants will be able to attend any training they are interested in as a part of their ongoing professional growth and development.
Attendance Accountability for each Tier:
Tier 1 APs are expected to attend all PLCs.
Tier 2 APs are expected to attend at least 50% of the PLCs
Tier 3 APs may attend any of the PLCs, but are not required to attend.
