 GaTAPP

The TAPP Program is designed to provide a non-traditional preparation route to teacher certification. The required coursework will be completed through a blended model of online and face-to-face coursework. The program involves structured supervision and coaching by the Candidate Support Team that includes the TAPP coordinator, a department chair, mentor teacher, and a schcandidate will be enrolled in the one year program, but can take an additional year if needed and in accordance with certificate renewal ool administrator. The TAPP Program Provider will make school site visits to provide individual support. The teacher deadline. Teachers will be working toward attaining a clear renewable certificate.

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System offers ARC through the GaTAPP program. GaTAPP is offered by three program providers in collaboration with our school system. These providers are

  • First Distict RESA (FDRESA)
  •  Georgia Teachers Fellows (GTF)
  •  Oconee RESA

Their services are available only to teachers who are currently employed by SCCPSS.
