Mission Statement
Savannah-Chatham County Public School System’s Health and Physical Education Departments educate students to become lifelong learners of health and wellness by participating in activities that develop behaviors which encourage healthy decision making, appropriate social, emotional and cognitive development, and a lifelong physical fitness in and outside of the educational setting.
 
A  Healthy and Physically Educated Person:

SCCPSS complies with the Georgia Department of Education's recommendation for health and physical education.  The health and physical education curriculum is also aligned with the State and National Standards.
