Smaller Learning Communities are designed to create smaller schools within a larger school body. The academy structure nurtures the academic and career interests of students as they work toward graduation. The academies are inclusive and designed to incorporate all learning styles.
“CHANCE" will positively shape student outcomes through SLC strategies that improve academic achievement for all students, raise graduation rates, increase enrollment in postsecondary education and training, and ensure students are ready to be successful. Ultimately, we will empower our students to prepare for the future and realize their dreams.
What are the goals of CHANCE?
1) Student Achievement - Prepare all students to succeed in postsecondary education and careers without need for remediation.
2) Academic Rigor - Increase educational expectations and requirements for all students while engaging and motivating them to maximize their full academic potential
