HB 91 - Petition to Waive Georgia High School Graduation Test

Legislation to eliminate the Georgia High School Graduation Test as a requirement for graduation and replace with end-of-course assessments, which would become effective on and after July 1, 2015.

Previous Georgia high school students who failed to receive a high school diploma or was denied graduation solely for failing to achieve a passing score on one or more portions of the Georgia High School Graduation Test or its predecessor or the Georgia High School Writing Test may petition the local board of education for eligibility to receive a high school diploma.
