What is Eureka Math?

The Eureka math curriculum was created by Great Minds, a nonprofit that brought together teachers and experts to craft a program based on the world's most successful math programs. Eureka was built around the core principle that students need to know more than just what works when solving a problem---they need to understand why it works.

In addition to traditional methods for math computation, sometimes students need more options--they need more tools in their toolbox. Eureka math provides the tools. If students learn multiple math strategies, not only can they solve more kinds of problems more efficiently, but they also gain a deeper understanding of mathematics and how to use it in daily life.
