Administrative Placement

The enrollment window for Administrative Placement is June 3-7, 2019.

Applications are accepted from: 9:00am- 3:00pm.

Location: TBA

Limited space available.

Transportation will not be provided and is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

Applications are accepted on a First Come - First Serve basis.

All students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing.

The official attendance zone boundary for each elementary, middle, and high school is established by the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education.  Students are to attend the school in the zone of the bona fide residence of their parents/legal guardians unless they have administrative approval to enroll elsewhere.  A student does not establish a bona fide residence by living in the district or a particular attendance zone for only a portion of the week or only on school days unless this arrangement is specified in a divorce decree or other court order.

Policies and Procedures regarding intradistrict transfers are the responsibility of the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System.  The Division of Academic Affairs organizes and facilitates the student administrative placement process for grades K-12. The goal is to work with parents and students in addressing their requests for placement in schools outside of the assigned school zone.
