My name is Yolanda Sanders. I’ve been in the education profession for 20 years and have taught at the elementary and college level. The majority of my teaching years was spent at Esther F. Garrison Elementary. I also taught at Juliette Low Elementary and Haven Elementary before becoming an Instructional Technology Coach.
My goal, as an Instructional Technology Coach (ITC), is to provide professional development in the use of technology, collaborate with teachers to plan lessons, build/share/enhance instructional skills, as well as assist in the facilitation of standards-based, technology rich lessons. The goal is to engage students, helping them to meet performance benchmarks, preparing them for 21st century demands.
SAMR is a model designed to help educators infuse technology into teaching and learning. The goal is to transform learning experiences so they result in higher levels of achievement for students.
