After Lottery Application, Click Here!

Families interested in a Choice Program that wish to apply after the lottery process is complete, can access an “After Lottery Application” above.  After Lottery Applications will place students on the schools’ waitlist in the order received, upon eligibility criteria verification, and based on available seating.   The deadline for submitting After Lottery Applications is June 15, 2018. 

Please see important information regarding After Lottery Applications Below:

Current SCCPSS Students:  If your child has been enrolled in an SCCPSS school for more than one year, you do not need to submit any additional documentation when completing the After Lottery Application. 

**PLEASE NOTE:  If your child attends Coastal Empire Montessori Charter or Tybee Maritime Academy Charter, please refer to the information below for NonSCCPSS students. 

NonSCCPSS Students:  All Non-SCCPSS students (this includes private school, home school, virtual school or Out of County Students, as well as Coastal Empire Montessori Charter and Tybee Maritime Academy Charter) must submit additional documentation to be reviewed during eligibility verification, if seats are available. 

Required documentation must be submitted to the SCCPSS Office of College & Career Readiness, 402 Market Street, Savannah, GA 31408.  Please note that the Office of College & Career Readiness is located at the Woodville Tompkins Lower Campus, which is not the same location as Woodville Tompkins High School.  For driving directions, please visit, click Additional Information. 

ALL documentation should be received (through drop-off or US Mail) within five business days of online application completion. The Office of College & Career Readiness will receive documentation Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm. 

Required documentation includes: 

  • Choice Program Application confirmation email OR printed application.
  • Report Cards (previous three full semesters, equivalent to a full year and a half)
  • Proof of Address (Appropriate items include: lease or rental agreement, mortgage statement, home purchase agreement, utility bill (electric/lights, gas or water), governmental agency mail (county, state, or federal) Note: cable or phone bills will not be accepted. 
  • Required Test Scores (nationally normed standardized test results that measure mathematics and literacy)

Applicants who are applying for Kindergarten (that are not in an SCCPSS Pre-K program at one of our schools) and applicants who are applying to First Grade (that are not in an SCCPSS school) are required to provide Proof of Address, only.  No report cards or test scores are necessary.
