What happens if I need to resign
A resignation letter should be submitted to your site supervisor and Benefits. The letter should give the effective date, position, site and social security number. You will then need to contact Benefits to schedule an exit interview. An employee who resigns can normally expect to receive their final paycheck on the next regularly scheduled payday for the next complete pay cycle after the one in which they resign. This allows time for leave slips and other pay related items to be posted to the employee's final check. This check will usually include vacation and/or sick leave settlements that may be due to the employee.
