Applications are only accepted when there is a vacancy, so you may want to frequently check our site. Applications are reviewed by Human Resources staff to make sure that the applicant meets the qualifications of the job description. Those that meet the requirements are then made available to the hiring manager (or principal) after the date listed by the position. If the position is shown as being advertised until filled, then the applications are released as they are reviewed. The hiring supervisor at the site will select applicants to interview and then will make a recommendation to HR. All employment is by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the superintendent. Hiring supervisors may not hire any applicant.

Current employees of Savannah-Chatham County Public School System must fill out all fields of an application to be considered for a different position.
