Risk Management Department
The Risk Management Department of the Board of Education was established in 1992 to administer the Board’s workers’ compensation, loss control and insurance programs. The responsibilities were coordination and implementation of the safety training programs, workers' compensation programs and the property and liabilities insurance programs.
In past years Risk Management has received the responsibility for seven additional programs - Drug-Free Workplace, Unemployment, Fleet Management, Student Accident Insurance Claims, Fire Drill Reporting and Environmental.
