My employment with the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System began in July 2017 when I started as an Upper Elementary assistant at Charles Ellis Montessori Academy, and it has been an absolute joy working with my team, colleagues, and students, as well as learning about and embracing the Montessori philosophy. I never thought I’d find a job that I would love so much. To say my Ellis colleagues have been welcoming would be an understatement, and I am honored they have chosen me as their Instructional Support Person of the Year.

If I am not traveling, having an adventure or a new experience, in my spare time you will probably find me doing something outside along with my daughter, dogs and husband; going to the beach is a favorite activity - as the island girl that I am - as well as rock climbing.
