 Enjoy TumbleBooks

Tumble Books

TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. Please contact the school for username and password.

 Find Lexile Measures

The Lexile Framework is a tool adopted by the Georgia Department of Education. Lexile measures appear on standardized tests results. A Lexile measure is a standard score that matches a student’s reading ability with difficulty of text material. The difficulty of the text is based on word frequency and sentence length. It is a book or article level that a student can read with 75% comprehension. A Lexile measure can range from below 200L for beginning readers to above 1700L for advanced readers. Readers who score at or below 0L receive a BR for Beginning Reader. Lexile measures help a reader find books and articles at an appropriate level of difficulty and determine how well that reader will likely comprehend a text. A link at the right of this page will take you to the official Lexile site.
