If your child has met challenges in the learning process, most likely you have heard the three letters RTI. RTI is the process by which educators determine the needs of individual students and give them support to get them back on track! We hope this page will provide you with a better understanding of this process.
If you have concerns about your child's progress, please meet with your child's teacher EARLY in the year to discuss the RTI process. Teachers monitor students who are placed in Tier 2 and Tier 3 on a weekly basis.
Students are identified for Tier 2 and Tier 3 based on the following assessments:
DIBELS Reading (Kindergarten and 1st grades)
SRI Reading (2nd through 5th grades)
CRCT Reading and Math (3rd through 5th grades)
MAP Math (2nd through 5th grades)
