Mrs. Whitney Colley Joined the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System in 2015. While at Johnson High School, Mrs. Colley taught Choral Music and International Baccalaureate Music. Prior to her teaching in Savannah she taught in Nashville Public Schools as well as Denver Public Schools.
Mrs. Colley grew up in Ohio and earned her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and her Master’s degree from University of Colorado. She earned her certification in educational leadership from Indiana University Bloomington.
During her free time, Mrs. Colley enjoys spending time with her four-year-old daughter and husband. They spend time going to the beach, reading, playing and watching sports. She is an avid college and professional football fan. She lives by the Vince Lombardi quote, “It’s not whether you get knocked down; it’s whether you get up.” She is relentless in her efforts to ensure students and staff are supported so they are able to be successful inside and outside of the classroom.
