Garden City Elementary School's part-time social worker is Mr. Jeff Baker. He offers skilled support for children from all grade levels in several areas including:

Individual and Group counseling

Behavior Management

Referrals for community based mental health counseling

Crisis Intervention

Mediation

Improving Social skills

Parental Support

Attendance Management

Mr. Baker has worked extensively with families for over 25 years providing social work support in Chatham County. Mr. Baker will be working with the faculty, students and parents to help promote a positive school climate and culture conducive to learning.
