Chorus is open to select 4th and 5th grade students, and conducted under the auspices of Mrs. Goll, Gould's music teacher.  Chorus performs two or three times a year at evening PTA events.

Math Club is held after school as a combination tutorial and enrichment time.  Students are first brought up to speed on fundamentals like memorizing basic facts, and then build upon this foundation with challenging puzzles and games.

Technology Club is for students who are preparing projects for this year's Media Festival.  We will learn a variety of programs and web applications, from Word and PowerPoint to Sumo Paint and Movie Maker.  Then we'll design and complete projects for the competition.

Chess Club seeks not to create grandmasters, but to help students develop patience, foresight, and problem-solving skills useful in all aspects of life by learning and playing the game of kings and queens.  We are planning a "Chess Fest" this year, so stay tuned for more announcements!

 

 

 

Drum Circle both wants to work AND to bang on the drum all day.  They do so under the direction of Gould's music teacher, Mrs. Goll.

Guitar Club is a biweekly music instruction with Mr. McGrath.  We thank Garrison SVPA for loaning us the instruments to get this club started!

The Book Bashers is a boys' book club run by Mr. McGrath.  We select titles, read them, and then meet twice a week to discuss.

The Book Buddies is a group of girls who meet to discuss a book they read in common.  The girls meet with Mr. McGrath, who is not a girl, but can relate.

Drama Club creates original readers' theater and improv performances related to our school studies.  We also sometimes choreograph song and dance routines.
