On Monday, December 12, the Godley Station Volleyball Team defeated Meyers Middle School by the scores of 20-11 and 20-9 to advance to the second round of the county playoffs.

In the first game, the team received some strong serving from Reagen Price who had 7 consecutive service points. The Stallions were down 6-9 before Reagan started serving. Kiana Pangelinan added 5 service points.

In the second game, Ariel washington was responsible for 6 service points to give Godley Station an 8-2 lead that they never relinquished.

Camden Davis and Desirae Robbins displayed some great passing, while NyJah Parker, Imani Smith, and Jada Roberts also played well.

The team will host top seeded Oglethorpe Charter on Wednesday beginning at 4:30 in the second round of the playoffs.
