On Thursday, january 26, the Godley Station Basketball teams dropped a pair of games to Oglethorpe charter School.

In the opener, NyJah parker led the team in scoring for a second straight game with 10 points, but the girls came up a bucket short and lost 29-31. Jada Roberts, Airlyn Short, and Kenrianna Bennett also scored.In the second game, Oglethorpe defeated Godley Boys' squad. Reikan Donaldson and Marvin Evans were top scorers with 6 points each. Caleb Pechman, Marcus Outen, Daelin Warthern, Carl Brown, Sia Fisher, Johnny Lewis, and Daviante' Bentley also scored.

The girls are now 1-1 on the season while the boys are 0-2.

The teams will play Monday at Mercer Middle SChool.
