EWeek 2020 at Jenkins High
H. V. Jenkins School of Engineering celebrated “EWeek” 2020 with our many community and business partners. EWeek acknowledges the work and impact engineers make on our communities and everyday lives. The week offered students the chance to meet and speak with professional engineers as well as participate in hands-on activities. Founded by National Society of Professional Engineers in 1951, EWeek is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers.
“J. E. Dunn was my favorite,” according to freshman Yasmin Benlizar. “We wore hard hats and got to see behind the scenes of our new construction. But the whole week was really great!”
Students were able to meet with representatives from Gulfstream, International Paper, Georgia Southern University, Technology Women in Georgia, Judson, Ramboll, and Georgia Power during this fun and informative week!
