Hello and welcome to my webpage! I hope you will find this information useful, whether you are an Islands High School student or parent. I'd like to tell you a little bit about me. I am in my fifth year of teaching. Before I became a teacher, I studied journalism and worked for several regional newspapers. I got into teaching after working with my older son, helping him get a good educational start. I love being at Islands. The community and staff are so welcoming, and I really care about each student I teach. In my spare time, I enjoy following the Atlanta Braves on the radio, watching Doctor Who, and reading biographies. My husband and I have two sons: a 12 year old and a baby born this past July. We also own three dogs adopted from the Humane Society.
