Principal's Message

Dear Blue Jacket Students,

WELCOME! Whether you are a new to our school or returning with anticipation, we hope that you will find this school year to be memorable and exciting. The entire faculty and staff here at Savannah High are excited for your arrival. We all have a great desire to further Savannah High’s rich history of excellence and you play a very important part of that process.

At The High, we strive to build an atmosphere where students feel safe and ready to learn. In this kind of environment, students can thrive academically and socially. It is important to me that students attending this school are able to be and do their best. It takes a focused team to provide engaging lessons and maintain structure and safety.

The dress code policy has not changed at Savannah High School. We will enforce it fully and expect everyone to be in dress code the first day of school. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Must wear school ID at all times (so we can identify trespassers)

• Hats should be left at home (hats are not a part of the uniform)

• Follow the Savannah High School Dress Code for shirt color (royal blue or white) and pants color (blue, khaki, and black)

As we work together with academic achievement as our goal, we will Own the Purpose in doing our best to achieve greatness. I know that we are going to have a great year and I am excited that YOU are here! With Belief in you,

Ms. Tammy Broadnax, Principal
