Marshpoint School Uniforms



Tops:
Navy or white “polo” style shirts, turtlenecks, button-down collar shirts (no emblems or logos on shirts except the official Marshpoint logo). From page 31 of the Student/Parent Handbook for Success: All shirts must be tucked. Tops must not expose any of the midriff or lower back. Fishnet tops, halter tops, tube tops, strapless tops, tanks tops, spaghetti straps and other forms of transparent or revealing clothing are prohibited and should not be visible at any time.
Bottoms:
Khaki or navy or plaid** pants, shorts, jumpers, skorts, skirts or capris. From page 31 of the Student Handbook: Shorts, skirts, skorts and jumpers must be no shorter than three inches above the knee. Pants/slacks, skirts, skorts, shorts and jumpers must have a finished hem.
Shoes:
Shoes Must be enclosed and tied or fastened (NO BACKLESS SHOES OR CROCS)
Socks:
Only solid white or solid navy socks or tights may be worn; no leggings are allowed.
Outerwear:
Students may wear any coat or jacket to school, however inside the building only white or navy sweaters or sweatshirts may be worn. No hooded sweaters or sweatshirts are allowed.
All shirts must be tucked in and pants must fall at the natural waist. Belts must be worn if there are belt loops on the pants.
**Girls may choose a plaid skirt or jumper as an OPTION to the uniform which can be purchased from A-1 Uniforms on Waters Avenue (ask for the Marshpoint plaid) or French Toast (frenchtoast.com). The plaid is called “green plaid” at French Toast.
Shirts and sweatshirts with the Marshpoint logo can be purchased from the Marshpoint PTA. Order forms are located in the school office and on the PTA page of this website.
Many vendors in the Savannah area will carry the uniform in Marshpoint colors.
