PSAT- Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test

We administer the PSAT to all first time 10th grade students each year on a predetermined date in October. The PSAT is given at no cost to first time 10th grade students. The test date is publicized several weeks prior on our morning and afternoon announcements, as well as our school website.

If you are not a first time 10th grade student, but would like to take the PSAT at NHHS, you will need to register and pay the fee to Mrs. Barton in the counselors' office. There is no make-up test date and refunds are not given for students who do not test. Contact for more information.

PSAT scores will be distributed by Mrs. Barton. Along with your scores, you will receive your test booklet to enable you to determine which questions you correctly and incorrectly answered. Also, if you put your email address on your test sheet, you will receive your test scores in December through your email. Here is a guide to help you understand your scores.
