Rice Creek School will be offering an Enrichment Summer program to encourage active learning through project based learning. Teachers will keep students engaged through hands on learning activities that will encourage problem solving and creativity. Our curriculum will be standards based, yet it will be engaging, creative and fun!
The program is open to any Rice Creek student who does not have to attend summer school. Summer Enrichment is a free resource offered to families of Rice Creek School in an effort to support our students in achieving academic success. Research has shown us that summer enrichment programs support the retention of skills and concepts which provide a smooth transition to the next grade level.
We are excited to offer this opportunity to our students. If your child will be attending, complete the registration form and return it to Mrs. Cosson no later than May 9, 2018. Please keep in mind that there are a limited number of slots available. Enrichment slots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Students can begin returning forms as early as tomorrow, April 26, 2018.
