In our continuing efforts to enhance school safety, the Savannah Chatham County Public School System has implemented a visitor management system in all of our schools. The overall goal is to better control access to all SCCPSS schools and provide additional protection for our students, staff, and families. When you visit our schools, please report directly to the Front Office and plan on the following:
1. Please be prepared to show a valid driver’s license or picture identification card. All school visitor identification will be scanned into the visitor management system upon entry into the school. The new system is in place at Savannah Arts; however, we are waiting on the new scanner. Until that time, all visitor’s will be required to sign-in and show their valid driver’s license.
2. You will receive a visitor’s badge to wear while you are on campus. It must be visible at all times while you are visiting our schools. Any person who does not have a campus visitor badge with the current date displayed will be immediately escorted to the office.
3. When your visit is over, you must return to the office to check out and return the badge.
Thank you for your continued support as we partner together to provide a safe, quality learning environment for all students.
