Operation Beacon - SCCPSS Volunteer Program

  • We need ALL PARENT VOLUNTEERS to sign up for Operation Beacon. If you are working on a Saturday with the PTSA or making phone calls. We need you to log your hours.
  • Our students are our most valuable resources.  We realize the dedication, passion, and enrichment each volunteer brings to the lives of our 38,000 students.  The varied experiences volunteers provide is a gift far beyond monetary worth in the lives of our students.

  • Please send your $6 membership fee to the main office with the completed membership form.
  • Student membership is taken care of through class dues.
  • PTSA Yearly Campaign is underway. Please take a moment to determine how you will be able to participate. To donate, just go to saa-ptsa.org [you may need to copy and paste this link into your browser]. Annual Campaign Fund donation cards are always available in the office as well.

RED RIBBON WEEK IS OCTOBER 23-31, 2018
For Red Ribbon Week in October, we can use a number of unique educational activities to spread the knowledge and importance of drug and bullying prevention. The entire community can come together during Red Ribbon Week to teach children to develop good habits early in life to help them achieve future success.

 

NATIONAL SCHOOL BUS SAFETY WEEK, OCT. 22-26, 2018
National School Bus Safety Week in October is the ideal time to reinforce bus safety rules among students and express gratitude to our bus drivers, monitors, and transportation support staff for their hard work and professionalism. Please share a special thank you to all transportation staff members today!
