 ACADEMIC CRITERIA--NEW FOR 2013-2014 
Eligibility requirements for rising 9th Grade Students
 

§  Combined GPA (Grade Point Average) of 80 or better in academic subjects (English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, and Foreign Language, if applicable) for the most current report card period AND the 7th grade report card.

§  Nationally-normed (ITBS, Terra Nova, CTP4, or CAT) test scores must be a total stanine of 5 or above in Math, Reading, and English Language Arts OR Georgia CRCT score of 825 or above in Math, Reading, and English Language Arts. 

§  Satisfactory (S) Conduct.

Eligibility requirements for rising 10th-12th Grade Students

§   Combined GPA (Grade Point Average) of 80 or better in academic subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Foreign Language).

§    Rising 10th grade students must submit an 8th grade report card and the most recent report card.

§ Rising 10th grade students must have a PSAT score of 45 or above in all sections.  If no PSAT score is available, a nationally-normed test taken within the last two years with a total stanine of 7 or above in English Language Arts, Math, and Reading.

§    Rising 11th & 12th grade studetns must submit the most current report card and the high school transcript

§ Rising 11th grade students must have a PSAT score of 45 or above in all sections.

§    Rising 12th grade students must have a composite score of 1500 or above on the SAT or composite score of 21 or above on ACT.

§   Rising 12th grade students must have passed all portions of the Georgia High School Graduation Test.

§   Satisfactory (S) Conduct.
