Senior Diploma Pick Up Guidelines
END OF YEAR CONTROLLED ACCESS MESSAGE FOR GRADUATING SENIORS -SCHOOL MESSAGE: With the close of the 2019-2020 school year, your child may have items that need to be returned to school or that may need to be retrieved as essential belongings. Because your graduate will not return to our campus, the District will be offering an End of Year Controlled Access plan for the return or retrieval of items. For the safety of students, staff, and our families, SCCPSS continues to follow social distancing practices and the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control. Graduating Seniors will be invited to come to school on May 18 or May 19. Scheduled waves have been provided. Please ensure textbooks, school technology (devices), band uniforms, ROTC uniforms, athletic equipment and any other school property that may be in your child’s possession is returned. You will find a clearly designated curbside drop off zone for the return of any school items. PERSONAL BELONGINGS STILL AT SCHOOL? If your graduate needs to enter the facility to retrieve belongings he/she may do so during the designated time provided. Graduates will have 15 minutes to retrieve any belongings from the building. Students should enter the school’s main front door entry point. Only the graduate will be permitted access to the facility. School personnel will be on site to assist. Simply follow directional traffic signs for parking. Prior to entry your child is expected to wear face coverings. No student will be allowed entry if not wearing a face covering. He/she may also be asked a series of questions based on CDC guidance to determine the potential for Covid-19 exposure. Students should only enter the facility for the retrieval of essential items and will not be permitted to remain beyond the 15 minutes established period of time. RECAP: Woodville Tompkins END OF YEAR CONTROLLED ACCESS FOR GRADUATING SENIORS DATE: May 18 and/or May 19th Only TIME: May 18th 9-12 May 19th 1-4
