

The Woodville-Tompkins Alumni Scholarship Foundation is proud to announce that it has awarded a $5,000 scholarship to Jarkelious Kelly, a senior at Woodville-Tompkins. This is the first scharship awarded by the Foundation. Jarkelious plans to attend Fort Valley State University in the fall to major in Psychology.
Jarkelious has a 3.0 GPA and has earned college credits as a dual-enrolled student at Savannah Technical College. He has completed the Nursing Assistant Program at Woodville-Tompkins, and is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). His future plans are to earn a Ph.D. in Psychology and become a Mental Health Counselor.

The Woodville-Tompkins High School Alumni Scholarship Foundation was established in 2009 to assist the students of Woodville-Tompkins in pursuing their career goals at a post-secondary institution. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided funding for college tours, school uniforms, and other events that students participate in during the school year.
